The purpose of Elysian Wayfarers is to take the pressure off the Funeral Directors by dealing with the back of house tasks. I focus on the necessary tasks of preparing the tūpāpaku so the Funeral Director can focus on the whanau and arranging the funeral to their wishes.
Transfers

Let me deal with the traffic and the stress of transferring the tūpāpaku between locations for you and the whanau.

Cleaning & Dressing

I can take care of cleaning and dressing tūpāpaku. I can also assist the family if they wish to do the dressing themselves.

Assist with Services

I can help run the service. Working with the celebrant to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.

Trimming Caskets

I can prepare the caskets to be used by the tūpāpaku. Once a decision has been made on side set, lining, handles, even the type of casket to use, I can prepare it.

Mortuary Assistance

While not an embalmer myself, I am willing to assist your embalmer when needed. Whether that be just muscle to move the tūpāpaku, or any other help needed.

These are just a very small set of the services that I can offer to Funeral Homes and others in the Funeral industry. The services are provided on an ad-hoc or a contracted basis. That means that you can call me in and utilise me when you need me, with no expectations or other requirements. You get to chose.

In all instances, while I do anything for you and your Funeral Home, I will be conducting myself in the utmost professional manner and represent your organisation in a way that would be expected if I were to be an employee of your organisation.
